I simply wrapped up the comical Slasher.com (or “S/ash.er,” as it’s communicated in the credits), which is an, um, slasher film. Those aren’t normally clever, and this one most likely didn’t set out to be comical in nature, yet it is the thing that it is: One of those subtle so-awful it’s-great motion pictures.
Slasher.com starts with some artificial news scope of a “slasher serial executioner” who’s been knocking off ladies he meets on the web. Experts are beguiled! Try not to date on the web, they alert! Scope finishes, and we see a decent young fellow named Jack (Ben Kaplan, “The Sluagh”) going to go on a first date with Kristy (Morgan Carter), whom he — sit tight for it met on the web.
